Commodities include metals (gold, silver, platinum, copper, aluminum), agricultural products (coffee, sugar, soybeans, corn, grain), energy products (petroleum products, natural gas, fuel oil), etc. They are sold/bought on the commodity exchange*.

*Commodity Exchange is a place where commodity futures and options contracts are traded. There are currently approximately 70 different commodities on the market

Commodity exchange can be divided into two categories

Universal:
there are no restrictions on the type of goods. Contracts are concluded here.

Preferred shares:
shareholders cannot participate in meetings,
but the holders of these shares have an advantage in the distribution of dividends.
